Our building told us on Saturday to stop using our kitchen drain thanks to a downstairs clog, so I did this for three nights. They failed to say the clog had been fixed the same day!

Goodbye Boot, our lovely cat for 15 years, 3 months, and 29 days. In recent years, she shared a ping-pong ball's worth of fur to be vacuumed daily from our floors.

#JoanRivers did NOT grow up in #Brooklyn's #TurnerTowers Apt 107. That 1940 Census column is labeled "number of household in order of visitation"; it's not her unit number. (Example: ours is 16C). I will rediscover the 107th visited in our 200-unit building, where the Census found that 1st grader.

My onetime sports interest: Detroit Red Wings because my crush loved them. She agreed to a date . . . to come out to me. After barhopping w/ her and her gf I found myself waking in my bff's bed, my glasses lost, after a cry, w/ my friend shaving ginger into my tea while playing McGarrigle Sisters.
