Also, shoutout to the absurdly-good character creator too. Don't think there has ever been a game that allowed me to so easily create exactly the kind of character I want to play. Genuinely really good stuff.

Sounds like a good idea for a Patreon bonus tho

Best of luck to you for whatever comes next!

For context, this is different to the previous collection in which each game had a Platinum on PS4, but none of the PS5 versions did. Unless this is just bugged, something really is up with how trophies are handled now, and I'm not quite sure why there's conflicting treatment.

I should add, there were games in the show I am interested in and would like to play, but I'm already overwhelmed with games to play, and so everything will continue to fight for time. Lost Soul Aside, Hell is Us, MGS Delta, and more def stood out, and May is looking packed now.

Not 100% sure I fit the bill, but I've written reviews and more on my website/Backloggd page, as well as various deals posts and guides for Eurogamer. Happy to help if I can! Reviews: www.backloggd.com/u/JoshM574/ & joshmckenna574.wordpress.com EG freelance: www.eurogamer.net/authors/josh...

Not done something like this before, but cool to see something that anyone is able to contribute to like this, and neat integration with Backloggd too - check out their respective pages below. IGDB: www.igdb.com/games/destin... Backloggd: www.backloggd.com/games/destin...

Yeah, I don't understand the way people are. Wherever you are though, always gonna be keeping an eye out and seeing what you're up to. Looking forward to what you do! Also, not sure if you are looking for anyone else to help with your game, but would be more than happy to help if possible.

I liked HZD when it came out, Plat'd it and all. But then I tried going back to it some other time, and playing Forbidden West and just couldn't get into it. I tried HZD again recently and felt more into it, but then just never ended up playing more lol

For anyone interested, here's my full fight against the Pride and Joy Prototype (begins at 20:12) as well as the four prior rounds against each of the Summons. Feel like I only just scraped by with enough MP at the end lol youtu.be/QSdk_i28ml0

They did seem to be cagey about the story, even the whole Path of I-forgot-the-name-of (lol) they didn't want to say much about. Hoping alongside the dungeon that there's stuff in there about Xivu and Savathun - seems weird to have a random Dread as the 'main enemy', so there's gotta be more.

Honestly, the more I think about it, even if I prefer aspects of the remake, overall I think this newer version is vastly overrated, and I prefer the original. Even if the island section (in both tbf) isn't that good, think the OG just feels better to me.

Also, I think this is something that could probably happen in OG RE4, but the movement of 4R might make it more noticeable. Think the movement of these RE remake games in general can feel kinda bad at times, like it doesn't gel too well with enemies, bosses, the levels etc.

When it all works though, it feels great to pull off, and the knife parry is genuinely one of the best mechanics I've seen in a game. I wanna replay it with the infinite durability knife as to me, this would actually make combat feel a lot more enjoyable and consistent.

Since it's mapped to the crouch button, ducking with that instead of Leon doing the proper animation to dodge always felt bad, even if no damage was taken. Similar thing happens with stealth takedowns too. To me, these are big flaws for a game that's regarded so highly.

With the knife having durability and no manual dodge like RE3, RE4R often felt bad to play. Even if you still dodge an attack, there's a complete disconnect between you and enemy attacks. That's on top of a limited set of attacks that can actually be parried/dodged.

I had a great time playing A Realm Reborn last year and honestly loved pretty much everything about the game. The overarching MMO shell and social aspects make it all feel so alive and active. Going back to it has reminded me that I really should look to continuing with it sometime soon.
