Timelapse of yesterday’s painting with a bit of animation at the end I put together in #toonsquid on iPad. 👍

Thanks Mark! Yeah Nomad sculpt is capable of way more than it looks like on the surface. It takes some trickery to get it to do stuff like this well, but it’s not impossible.

Awesome! It is worth digging into and learning. Glad to hear that what I am doing is inspiring to you. The more you learn the more fun there is to have. 👍

Yeah actually you can kinda do that you can select any faces and duplicate them as a separate objects.

Take a look at valence 3d it’s pretty close to that. I’ve really been enjoying it.

That would be incredible. All signs so far are pointing to the developer NOT going that direction unfortunately. Maybe he will change his mind but it seems unlikely for now. We will see

Thanks Matthew! Yes! The value of this “little” app far exceeds what can be seen on the surface. The more you dig into it, the more it starts to click what level of work you can get done with it. Glad to hear that my explorations have encouraged you to start playing around with it. It’s a blast.

Incredible. Love the balance of details. 👍

Not sure I understand the question. I mean I just make the basic shapes I want, then start adding details. The scale is really communicated by the size of the smallest detail in comparison to the largest shape. Kinda lol!

I’ve been thinking about getting one again recently. I abandoned them a couple of years ago but I am missing the friction on the screen. I was just using the stock tips on the Apple Pencil and I was wearing through them so fast. Will probably pick some of these up thanks for the recommendation 👍
