oh yeah I don't mind typing things out in MD at all, but for things like tables, task lists, calendars, etc, it's definitely not a great format even though obsidian makes them look pretty haha

been using obsidian for a couple years now but currently looking at Anytype to replace it...
some things about it are just a bit too clunky for me because of the forced markdown system.

truly I was reluctant coming from cubase but it's been such a breath of fresh air! I spent a year or so learning Ableton as well and the annoying parts of Ableton just never stopped irritating me, but bitwig's annoyances aren't quite as bad haha

the way i think about it is that Better is whatever you like, and you don't know what it is because it's always changing and growing with you. so Better is in a way, unachievable, and therefore you should just follow what feels the most right.

you're much bolder than I, as soon as josie showed up as an idea i was like ok girl take the wheel i don't wanna be here anymore. i just didn't have the energy to fight it for any longer than i did, and here i am nearly 2 years later and while i don't regret it, i wish i was "normal" from the start.

quick Google tells me that those .wal and .shp files are temporary and deleted when you close the project. probably just cache files or something, but that means your project size should go down when you close it haha
