Grew up in my father’s classic sci-fi books. Moved in to bigger, deeper adventures. Never thought I would live to see any of those classics become reality, yet here we are. While we are not yet in space, aspects of Joe Haldeman’s ‘Forever War’ haunts me more than the current news cycle.

Where’s the bus stop? I am clearly in the wrong multiverse. Never in my lifetime did I think a new ally group with Russia, N. Korea, Israel, and the US would ever be possible. Had a lovely dinner at the diner with my hubs, youngest, son, and DIL. Not a TV in sight. No sports fans. And the conversations around us were of how it’s going to snow again, the grocery stores look raked over, and who’s gonna go to Costco tomorrow. And Ben & Jerry’s. I love my little state. 💙
