I see he’s not denying being an idiot.

Is there a new podcast series on the way soon? If it's going to be a while, an interim podcast episode for updates on TV series 2 cases would be most welcome!

The news is scarier these days.

The smell of weed seems to be unique. It will sort of multiply in the air. Even on a breezy day it just doesn't dissipate. The smell is so invasive it's almost an anti-social behaviour issue in its own right.

There have been accounts from Sedona, Arizona of people seeing apparitions of dinosaurs.

If Musk continues to trash the US Gov systems the way he trashed Twitter, the daily barrage of cyber attacks that all western states receive are going to start getting through. The scale of the potential damage is a horrifying thought.

Question: If these people committed crimes in the name of their dear leader, could they be prosecuted in the future under a different president? I know very little of how the US legal system works (state / federal laws, time limits, pre-emptive pardons, etc)

I signed into facebook for the first time in about a year today and found so many ‘nostalgia’ pages recommended to me it was frightening.

Series 2 of Uncanny is back on BBC2 this month I think. The Uncanny podcast is probably the finest of its genre. www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/...

The Scottish gov already does this. They use a centralised, points based tendering system which makes it easier - the living wage commitment scores so highly bidders can’t win without agreeing to it.

This angle really shows off his stripes. And he knows it.

That’s exactly how I’d describe Nick Ferrari on LBC. Too many of our journalists are just poor quality, and they often seem to be the most visible.

I’ve started to keep them. I find that with loved ones who’ve passed away, it’s nice to have something handwritten from them to remember them by at this time of year.

I hope her brother made it home.

Does anyone know if we’ll get to hear the story from the cancelled episode, from a couple of seasons back? I think the guys name was Chris, and the episode was replaced with a recording from the first UncannyCon.

Bargain.

Distraction is a great technique for getting them accustomed to human contact. When they’re too busy concentrating on catching a toy they’ll often ignore the fact that you’re petting them.

The list blocking function on this site is absolutely glorious.

I don’t understand this importance of whether immigrants integrate or not. I’m white and was born here, I’ve no intention of integrating any time soon.

Reminds me of the theory of evolutionary cul-de-sacs. To me it feels as if culture stopped evolving about 20 years ago, just as technology started to evolve much more rapidly. Maybe one as a consequence of the other?

We need some decent and regularly updated block lists so we can block them en masse, get the cleaning down to a routine of a few clicks.

@martinlewismse.bsky.social spoke about premium bonds recently in his podcast, explained them really well. Here’s the episode. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p...

15 years ago we discovered the banks couldn’t be trusted. Now we’re discovering retailers can’t be trusted. Why do governments only ever provide financial assistance to citizens via mechanisms that allow corporations to hijack it?

I just saw the line “Gaetz withdraws” and thought, that’s a level of detail that nobody wanted to know.
