yes ive tried ice packs, frozen water bottles, cold wet sheets, on the box fan. ive tried the counterclockwise ceiling fan. ive tried windows open at night, closed during the day. NO i cant have an awning. NO i cant put up film or foil. YES i have blackout curtains. i have my entire window blocked

we are allowed to have those big "portable" ac units with the hose that goes in the window. but those are 600 dollars. and the windows are 6 feet off the ground. the hose would get kinked. we can put a box fan in the window but like.... listen. that doesnt fucking help anything
