My brain immediately suggested that the other side of this hit record should be "Suite: Judy Brown Eye", and I will show myself out now.

Red Right Hand is SUCH a good one. I think for me it'd be "Bedroom Hymns" by Florence and the Machine...or "Professional Widow" by Tori Amos.

Came here to say this. Well, at least, it's my favorite on sad days. "I Feel You" is my favorite for dancing.

I love that there's an adorable little tool just for this!

Yeah - something to soothe poisons seems really appropriate today.

This is sheer genius, and I love it.

...also Anna Pavlova. Also Persephone. Welp.

Me and my tween-years Joan of Arc obsession hear you really loudly here.

OOOF.

I don't disagree, but also this is one of my favorite takes on the 5 of Swords for the sheer, ruthless audacity of it.

I'm listening to the audiobook right now, and enjoying it SO MUCH. It definitely feels like one of those books that was written specifically for my particular collection of interests and aesthetics.

Yay for not being numb...but also yes, dumbest timeline. I'm sorry that tears are needed, but glad you can shed them when they are.

Ahh, gotcha. STILL. A *vast* improvement!!

This is a thing that's possible?? Without having to control for the inevitable-but-irrational urge to bite the head off the interrupting party? Or being completely disoriented by the whole process?? WITCHCRAFT, I say!

It's a delight to cozy up with a book written by someone who loves so many of the same stories/Folks I love, through such similar and such different avenues.

Ahhhhh, I hadn't!!! Thank you for pointing it out, and congratulations - that's so exciting! I can't wait to get my hands/eyes on it!

This exactly!!

Granny, Magrat, and Tiffany at the very least, yeah. I don't personally get quite that vibe from Nanny Ogg and Agnes/Perdita, but I'm not an expert.

Case in point: "The Greeks ruined me. [Editor’s note: this explains a lot about Harris, actually.]" I love both of you so fucking much.

HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY! I can't wait to read it!

They are for me, yeah.

I've started using perfumed oils on my wooden and clay ritual items for this reason, among others, and it's been a really lovely addition to my practice. ...and a good way to justify the delicious oils I've acquired from Paintbox Soapworks.

The highest service an IPA can offer for is to taste like grapefruit juice while not interfering with my meds. Even this bar is often too high.

As someone who read the footnotes of *The Wasteland* with both interest and enjoyment, I can only encourage you in this venture.

I have the linen version of this, and it's SO GOOD. Entirely worth the price - I'm not sure I've ever gotten so many compliments on a single article of clothing.

@mpgphd.bsky.social , I feel like there's a book idea here.

As they say on AO3: *oh*. I both love this idea, and would love to hear this.

BOOTSTRAPS POISONING! I love this phrasing, and am intimately familiar with the condition.

When a former therapist responded to my uncertainty/resistance about using 'affirmations' with "Of course they don't work - they don't feel *true* to you", my world shifted. And then we worked out ways to push back against my distortions that felt *true*, that I could say honestly - SO helpful.
