Even the surrounding streets outside the park were packed w/protesters w/signs too who were getting a lot of horn honks in support. We left about 3:30 & the sidewalk a block up (Starbucks on the corner) was also full of protesters getting honks. A lot of youth - more than I’d seen at a protest!

No one really knows unless they experience the challenge of raising a child w/disabilities, as in my grand’s case will never talk/use the toilet; she won’t likely live independently as an adult. But at age 10, she is so trusting & loving. I’m afraid what happens to her if this admin has their way🤬

It was great energy. And lots of young people on the streets with signs especially. I was happy to see so many high school - young 20s…they get it. Wish more adults did.

The anchor on the local TV station said “dozens” but the reporter corrected her and said hundreds. It would’ve been correct to say thousands but media stories around the country appeared to be downplaying the turnout. We will have to step it up for the next protest 🤙🏼
