Had a game yesterday where two of my allies went to war, so I chose to support the one that I didn't border, to pinch a few towns. But due to a cascading series of alliances, all 8 civs ended up at war with literally everyone else, except for two who remained allied. That was a chaotic mess. Fun tho

I enjoy putting a self destruct button in my commander decks.
This is therefore getting pinwheel slammed into my faeries deck.

My least favourite is plague. Just grinds end of age growth to a halt, and without fail i'll lose a commander or something important because I forgot to move it

But having completed 6 games now, I find the ebb and flow of the eras to be refreshing (though the AI always seems to rush down relics in the modern era *super* quickly). Catherine and Ibn Battua are my favourite to play so far

My main gripes are user error related- I rarely use trade routes because I forget to build/buy merchants, and I often find in the modern era I can't build certain buildings in some of my older cities/towns because of how I've built them in previous eras. Oh and Lafayette, dude's always an ass to me

Reverse world record %
You have a time limit equal to the current any% world record, and see how far you make it in comparison
