If you like R.E.M., this is a must-read. If you like music, I Have That On Vinyl is always a must-read. If you like personal essays that relate the personal to the musical in ways that are original, honest, and thought-provoking, Michele is a must-read, even if you don't care about the music.

Today is the day for The Pixies' catalog to Hochulize spineless Democrats. (Yes, they are Pixies. But if I were king of the world, I would mandate that all bands with names of two or three words that end in a plural must adopt the definite article. I would be a frivolous but benevolent ruler.)
