Yes. I got off insulin and my A1c have been in nondiabetic range for 6 years now. And now I'm concerned how the data could be hacked.

I'm not sure what interacting with someone has to do with blocking them. I've blocked GOBS of people on various platforms that I've never interacted with. Just like in real life, there are people I don't like and don't *want* to interact with. No one deserves access to me, except my cat.

When Comfort pounces on me, I remind her to that she can't actually take me down. But she keeps trying!

It's OK, we'll have plenty of dead women to birth babies.

I don't think it's internalized homophobia; I expect it's sour grapes. My guess is... he went to a gay bar, couldn't meet anyone, so decided to join the other side since the queers wouldn't have him.

You're right; it's closer to a quarter million actually killed.

The *state* needs to bring charges so he can't be pardoned by... I dunno, some jerk who hung out with Epstein and thinks raping children is OK.

Ha! That's what I've been thinking. I keep seeing heart-warming videos of immigrants doing "work Americans don't want to do" with slogans about how *this* is what makes America great. No. Slavery has never made anything great.

He left for something *important*. Probably golf.

People are people; it's the governments that suck. Including ours.

Same for Israel/Gaza and Israel/Iran, etc. I do not understand how we somehow feel that being born in the US makes our lives matter more than anyone else's, especially to the degree that we can judge people in other countries and think which of their lives matter more or less.

I think of that when I see news about the Russia-Ukraine war. It's "celebrated" that a million Russians have died. I remember the depth of grief when my daughter died 11 years ago and it's inconceivable to me that it's occurred for a million families. The amount of suffering is mind-boggling.

They can't harvest your organs after death unless you've given permission. But they can use you as an incubator.

I don't, actually. There he'll be on the news, day after day during court cases. I'm at the point where I can't stand his face or his voice anymore. I just want him to die so I don't have to see or hear him ever again.

7/ Breed, color, gender, none of that matters, just love a kitty if you can. They'll pay you back a million fold.

6/ None of us can do everything, but we can save at least one life.

5/ The rescue local to me has an account with the vet they use, so I can donate to help with medical costs, and wishlists on Amazon for what they actually need wrt food, litter, meds, etc. Third, if you need a kitty (who doesn't?), contact your local rescue to give a cat a forever home.

4/ They coordinate with people doing fostering, especially relevant now when it's kitten season in the northern hemisphere and entirely too many babies need homes. Second, unless you know them personally, don't give money directly.

3/ Nearly everywhere has rescues, and they often have events like bake sales or adoption days and such. They're your neighbors; you can meet them. Your local rescue probably teaches people caring for ferals to do TNR (trap, neuter, return) and lends out traps.

2/ First, choose a *local* charity, so you can *know* the people.
