Ironically, Trump's refusal to let the FBI look into these folks is backfiring. They are still being looked into, but by the press and by Congress, instead of closed-mouth FBI agents.

It's not seven months. It's until there's a new Congress - so about two years. Most of Trump's first term cabinet didn't make it that long.
