Ain't that the truth?

What happened to journalism? When did journalists become afraid to call a Nazi salute a Nazi salute? I know you're trying to be cheeky by calling it a "VERY Controversial Salute," but we're so past the point of cheekiness being effective that you instead appear feckless and weak. Wake up.

Dissemination of subversive information. Not that I'm convinced many people see it. Algorithm deboosting kinda kneecaps outside links to, say, articles against Musk's interests. But maybe someone sees it, maybe acts on something. That'd be nice

Re-posting this kinda-sorta because I did a goofy thing, but I shoulda posted this earlier in this thread. jpohlmanwriting.com/blog/2025/2/...

I think the nearest one near me last time around was Union Square, which is...Not something I can manage, unfortunately. I'm like 45 minutes from the city with good traffic, an hour and change with normal. AFAIK nothing was actually in my county. I'm putting feelers out, though. :)

FWIW, in New York during my tenure in education, we had the Taylor Law to deal with so we couldn't strike. So we essentially had no power to demand anything better, thus people didn't participate, thus we had... ...Even less power. I never said it was *smart.* :/

Did this earlier today. :) ... :/

Nah, not really a fool. They just lied to you about their patriotism.

This repost is proving popular. Thank you! May I reshare my video on the King topic from earlier? Call your representatives (House and Senate alike) youtu.be/Hqi3UcV1oiU?...

I'll bite: Who is an "actual Dem" and what have they done?

You think the establishment of a Monarchy is the distraction? Sir, you can quit your job at any time. You have the funds to retire and never work another day in your life. Maybe consider that, if you aren't willing to live up to your oath

You're thanking him. He declared himself a Monarch and you’re thanking him because you like what he's doing.

Now it seems she may have said something about it. Which is good! Good for her! Still don't like her, but credit where its due. I'm still calling all my congresspeople about it. :/

Yeah, but my fear is that people focus on her push-back on an issue (that she wasn't even very in favor of, BTW), they focus on that fight, but the Trump Dynasty goes unchallenged and then it happens again. And again. Until it's "normal" and accepted. Congestion pricing is the distraction today.

Yes, but...She's holding up a poster quoting him declaring himself a King. I don't take that lightly. It wasn't for the lulz or to upset people, it's him expressing his personal truth. So, like, did she say anything about *that?* Because that's my big issue as a New Yorker.

Odd how this is about Trump's congestion pricing, and not his declaration of a monarchical dynasty IN HER HANDS. Seems like one is a symptom of the other, and she's just treating the symptom but not the disease. But maybe that's all Hochul felt like doing? I dunno.

Working on mine lol. Lotsa questions and I'm going for the gold ;)

I mean, I saw Valdemar and went, "Yep." Good 'ol Valdemar. I used to think people could do better than a Divine-Right Monarchy enforced by magic horses. But, nah. We're pretty cooked. C'mon, Epona! Show yourself! I'm sure enough people are praying. ... :(

I hope you're okay, and I hope you'll tell the tale soon. Until then, rest up.

Complicity, I'm afraid.

Agreed. Where's the plan? Because if this is it? Democrats? You all need a new party.

So? If someone threatened to shoot someone you love, but you weren't sure if they were doing it "literally nor seriously," you'd probably freak out, right? It's serious talk with the Orange Nazi. Start treating it as such before you literally and seriously let people die because you didn't.
