Once I saw the draw for FA Cup, I knew it could be a tough go. Just think how good it’s going to feel, watching Sonny raise the Europa League trophy!

21 and 23. Way different than 17,18. Yes, Ange seems to get a few things wrong, but I’m still
on the side that injuries are the biggest problem. March 6 and 13 will say a lot about Ange, especially if the injured return.

I feel that the benefits of this injury induced nightmare will be evident next year. I’d like Ange to be given the chance. A good run in UEL (winning it) would be nice.

Don’t really think we could have done enough business to hold of Liverpool. Villa was going to be tough given the extra rest and more complete squad, they have. So earlier signings may have made a difference there.

All about the UEL

The back 5 included none of who we would consider the starters. It really is about the UEL. Hoping have a much more complete squad in March

Improving for UEL is key. Not sure any amount of signings make us favorite on Thursday. But still have hope.
FA Cup- we are probably not favorites on Sunday.
League-not much chance to grab top 7.
UEL success relies on injury returnees and the added signings.
So, I’m hopeful there! COYS

My take:
It’s a tough line between signing for urgent and forgetting longer term plans. Although, I’m thinking CB is long term need. VDV & Romero injured too often. Other signings seem good and for long term.

I was amazed that Richy was in Cancun so quickly after the game.

A Chicago Spurs supporter enjoying the warmth of Cancun this week. Couldn’t watch either game, and miss two clean sheet victories. Maybe I should stay here longer.🤔

Romero will be ready for the next International break. Guaranteed!

I refuse to turn it back on. Is Richarlison alright?

Can’t take the pain of watching the 2nd half. Decided to have my finger nails ripped out instead.😩

Was planning on cancelling with the end of our involvement in UEL coming soon. Well, no VAR in Championship. I guess I can cancel Peacock instead.

From the states and came to PL about 20 years ago (Fox Soccer Channel). Spurs picked me in 2008 right after winning League Cup. So you can blame me. Definitely the worst I’ve experienced. My game watching partner (my son) and I couldn’t take it. Really need somebody back this week. Any chance?

One month from tomorrow the hopes of a trophy this year will be gone. The 2nd leg of UEL knockout is the 20th. This after bowing of League Cup and FA Cup on the 6th and 9th of Feb. At least we can focus relegation battle.

I will be signing off as well. Hope I miss the greatest comeback in recent years for Spurs.

Big relegation 6 pointer next Sunday. Anyone back from injury this week.

Ben is back. That makes me feel a little better. Hope Solanke is a precaution so he’s ready for Thursday 🤞🏼

Ange said he was having a shot. Doesn’t the training ground have a bar? Probably celebrating the return of Ben.

I agree. I really hope I’m wrong.

I don’t like my lack of hope, either. I’m blaming it on being a Chicagoan. Freezing weather and some of the worst teams in sports. Some even historically bad. Spring is coming, though.

Need the NFL 40 second play clock. Have to move the free kick back 5 yards if it’s not taking in that time.

Appreciate the thoughts. The depth of quality, especially with injuries, is just not there. I look forward to the rest of the season. If we injured come back and the rest stay reasonably healthy, it should be enjoyable.

I must be too much Spurs. Just worried that it’s not too magical.
