Every page just says, "Wave a light over it..."

Can't tell if planned obsolescence or shrinkflation. 🫤

Wait, really?! I hadn't even remotely considered buying, but what -- and I emphasize -- the actual hell?

Quick, tsunamis: now’s your chance! *sad science noises*

It’s quite clearly Yanny.

Holy cow, that’s heartbreaking. Stunned to hear.

Also, a great nod to the 1980s Disney film “The Last Flight of Noah’s Ark”—a seriously underrated gem—starring a future Star Trek cast member.

Listening to her and Peabo as we speak; absolute legend. Super sad to hear the news.

I was afraid of that; really hoped it it might be either a restaurant or possibly even private event space… but always assumed it was just going to be offices/employee space.

It did 😉

Even more confusingly, some of them have a hand and a half.

Oof. Good thing the plate didn’t fully seal, that could have been a really tuff morning.

Absolutely! Great stories are great stories, no matter what you call your group of aliens with varying nose ridges. 😉 May the Force be with you!

I'm in the early days of a 'This Is Us' rewatch (just finished 'Memphis'; gonna need a minute). Might have to give that a try after I'm done--always need me more Randall!

You couldn't pay me to fly commercial right now. But that's... well, many reasons.

That speech was life. I got a smidge choked up.

In a twist of irony, please let it be replaced by Speedway.

It's just such an awkward acronym to say in full, and shortening it to "America" is obviously egotistical. I don't feel like there's a great internationally-respectable short way to refer to this country. I guess as long as we're in the habit of renaming everything... "Vespucci," anyone? 😉

Chris, ya bleedin' legend you. It's beautimous; wish someone would pick this thing up already.

Man, the mid-90s were a wild time to be online, eh? I briefly worked for Prodigy back then where I fell in love with HTML for the first time; started building a website for work unofficially to help the team in '97; still at it today. What a ride...

There are so many possible candidates for this comment, I can't even begin to guess which one you're talking about. But in general, I 100% agree.

Oh my gosh, I adore that show. There are so many nights that I got through just by watching WILTY and Mock the Week clips/episodes on YouTube. I've loved David Mitchell for a long time anyway, but that show just took it to a new level.

Much of my work over the past dozen or so years has been paid for off of either indirect or matching grants. As an IT nerd, I can't begin to tell you how much I view grants experts who allow me to keep working as heroes. Seriously underappreciated rock stars of public service.
