2 others helped me figure out who she is and what she does. A few things she was going to be, such as Dirge Singer and Dread Necromancer, she is no longer, but the influence is still readily apparent.

1 The D&D 3.5E source book Libris Mortis: The Book of Undead. In it is information for various undead creatures and adventures involving undead, two of which being vampire spawn and half-vampires. One of the things that stood out to me was that it said that half-vampires are not universally evil
