More accurately it's "fire, aim", there never has been a "ready" because that would require them to a plan other than total destruction

I wrote about it here: Marc Andreessen’s “broken deal” narrative rewrites history to frame accountability as betrayal.

Pro/rel is what the mythos of America is, anyone can rise to the top, but professional sports in NA is a closed system where the Pickles and Hops will only ever be low minor league teams, it’s the romanticism of Leicester City and Wrexham running up the ladder, I’m in for the Pickles v Dodgers

I would love to see pro/rel in all North American leagues of every pro sport, don’t care if you are a historic club, get your act together ChiSox otherwise you’ll be in AAA traveling to Durham next year

Between the portal and conference jumping I think the entire NCAA system needs a major overhaul, why not create a pro/rel structure for football? That’d certainly end the debate about how good the SEC actually is 🤣

This is wild, can we now formally say the “amateur” tag on college football and basketball is a dinosaur? Especially at D1 those sports are somewhere in the semi-pro to pro-minor-leagues territory

This wave of adding quick-to-market AI tools in software is totally missing any real value that AI can bring, so much time is being wasted just so product managers can say "we have AI," which is being driven by execs grasping at straws for the latest fad with no real vision or plan, AI for AI sake

Over there you have to bow to the biggest influencer to get influence. That’s how it’s designed.
Here, everyone controls their own experience. There is no one influencer defining how to algorithmically amplify trolls and mis-information
This place is not Twitter. You control your experience

Certainly not just an issue with NFL QBs, but the complexity of that position results in players who are good-not-great, who show flashes of greatness that give you a sense of huge potential, but they never fully come through, Dak is the current poster child of this, all around unsatisfying to watch

I've already listened through it twice today, probably going to drastically change my Spotify wrapped for the year right before it is released 🤣
