Unless you have a dedicated htpc with something like Batocera or Bazzite, PC will be objectively less convenient as an emulation device

I dont think PC emulation is really fussy at all, especially with EmuDeck but ask any average gamer to decide if RetroArch or Mister is more convenient and the answer will be Mister

I mean if you dont cut bigger project and dont want to hassle with shell scripts than Kdenlive is probably more convenient and easier to use on Linux

Also resolve is lacking some codecs on Linux, so you should be aware of that. What I did is ask ChatGPT to write some shellscripts for ffmpeg to get everything in the right format.

generally has some useful install scripts for software. Its also very stable.

All of the software you mentioned works perfectly on Linux, except for Davinci Resolve. That one is (depending on the distro) a bit harder to install than „press this button“. I can really recommend Bluefin/Aurora/Bazzite for this reason, it has a script for automatically installing it and 1/2
