I was there in 1966 as an Army photographer. I was taking pictures of a football game between our division's team and the team from another division. At that time, it looked like this photo, but a couple of years later, the Army Engineers blasted the Swastika but left the remainder of the structure.

These suckers can sneak up on you. My last White Widow went from, "Oh, I've got lots of room" to "Crap, there's only four inches to the lights" seemingly overnight. Luckily it was still warm enough to finish outside, but still managed to add another 20 inches.
