Hey TTRPG indie/publisher Bluesky! Does anyone sell their stuff on both DriveThruRPG and itch.io? If you’ve only gone with one of these what influenced your decisions? I’ll need a good home for Rusty Sellsword Design stuff that isn’t linked to another publisher eventually so I’m getting info

Good and proper reasons both

There's a weird left-QAnon thing starting up centered around dubious claims about the 2024 results popping up at the periphery of the internet. I feel like we're gonna hear more and more about this so just laying down my understanding of it now. I think its basically a hoax. 1/a lot

Good morning friends! To celebrate Pride, we're putting the Under Hollow Hills collection on sale on itch: itch.io/s/154748/und... There are community copies too. Check it out!

BAG ENTHUSIASTS! Got a favorite small, lightweight, crossbody bag? I need two! Both must fit: - A5 notebook - Pens - Glasses case Need another that's slightly bigger—say, for a small umbrella, or epi pens & snacks for the kiddo. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

#lodelrol

Moving from the backburner to the front: 24XX Plus. I've been tinkering with @jst.bsky.social's amazing ideas in 2400 and the 24XX system and things are coming together nicely. It's low crunch, still lofi, and it might be the core of another project now... #TTRPG

Weirdly, publishing manages to ask permission all the time to use things. And so do movies, TV shows, etc. It's the bare minimum of copyright law, and publishing especially doesn't have tech bro money pouring into it.

Imagine the polling "Do you support having comprehensive health coverage for yourself and your family paid for by everyone else's taxes?" fuck yeah!

BIG GOAT LITTLE GOAT is this month's free one page game. One of you is a big goat. The other is a little goat. If you need to know more than that, this game is probably not for you. PDFs and "design notes" here: www.patreon.com/posts/128931...

Coprolite isn't my favorite fossil but it's a solid number two.

My kid is on a Girl Scout sleepover, so I got to go on a date with @genevievetocci.bsky.social to finally visit @sidequestbooks.bsky.social and play some pinball! ❤️

Reading this and thinking "With their level of literary comprehension, it's a miracle none of the tech-overlords are trying to clone giant worms to ride" and now I'm worrying that they're trying to clone giant worms to ride.

The Wandering Blades Kickstarter campaign is LIVE! Help @plusoneexp.bsky.social and I bring my vision of a gritty, violent, and dramatic wuxia TTRPG to life! My goal with this project is to create the martial arts action game of my dreams! www.kickstarter.com/projects/ton...

Today's the day! My episode of Jeopardy! airs today (jeopardy.com/watch to find your local station/time). I hope you'll tune in! Plus, I wrote a short piece over at Six Colors about what it means to me. sixcolors.com/post/2025/05...

I ran a roleplaying game for my 7 year old that I designed specifically to play with her AND actually followed the rules as written for once. It worked as intended and she enjoyed it. This made us both happy. She played a teenage E.T. ninja stick bug.

I think I’ve misunderstood the meaning of Roland Barthes’s concept of “the grain of the voice” for about 20 years because I read some academic who ALSO misunderstood it in a way I happened to really enjoy and found useful. Annoying. Apparently I need a new reference point for this OTHER concept.
