Please show me where news channels are being maliciously created by LLMs.
Disinformation is a problem, but it exists regardless of AI. AI might make it easier, but that’s because it’s making a lot of things easier.
LLMs and ML have a lot of positive potential. Can’t throw out the bby with the bw

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make. You think people spouting bullshit on the internet is “manageable” but LLM-powered accounts are “unmanageable”? Also using LLMs for bots on social media is like 1 use case out of many.

Yeah I’m not a fan of moving to turf. I understand why they are making the switch though. Someone on 104.3 the fan suggested they could sell pieces of the grass and use the funds for the team/NIL. Wouldn’t be a bad idea.

And, given the comments (thank you for all the considered ones), I want to make my position clear: AI is a general purpose technology that will impact many aspects of life & work soon. Some impacts will be good & others very bad. Mitigating the bad & building on the good is key to all of our futures

Hopefully things change here, as my big worry about AI talk on this site is that people are being misled about the capabilities of AI by influencers who are telling them what they want to hear.
AI is not going away, it will impact all of our futures, and it needs more voices shaping its direction.

do you think bernie would have maintained 13 million voters if there were 3-4 more candidates in the 2016 primary?
comment in response to

"Bernie lost his voters to other candidates."
exactly. you're *so* close to getting it
comment in response to

2020 also included almost 5 million votes that were neither for bernie or the nominee, unlike 2016. almost 3 million of those were to Warren, who I also supported but split the Bernie vote so let's remember context.
I'm not glorifying anything. I'm just stating facts. 1/n

I would say dropping out from not getting support (cough Kamala cough) would be running a bad campaign. I think finishing 2nd in a crowded primary field as an outsider isn’t too bad.

wait is your argument that he was just one guy in a march of thousands? doesn't that undermine every movement ever? I think advocating for universal healthcare and a more equitable economy would benefit black people, but hey what do I know!

did I say you were unstable simply because you disliked bernie?

oh my god you have anti-bernie hashtags in your bio. it's your whole personality lmao. yeah you're either a bot or a little mentally unstable tbh

it's not bullshit, its an indisputable fact that he was arrested and was part of groups that advocated for racial equality on campus. Nowhere did I say that he was instrumental in the civil rights movement lmao. You are not good at this
comment in response to

Uh how does that address the child claim you made? My statement still stands. It is a fact that he was arrested at an anti-segregation protest. You're all over the place linking an article about his struggles connecting with the black community but that does nothing to dispute anything I just said.

You sound indistinguishable from Fox News. Bernie has photos from protesting segregation in the 60s. Do you have a source on the child claim? Also, he’s allowed to praise programs implemented under Castro.

If Warren had dropped out and endorsed Bernie, Bernie would have probably been the nominee. But saint Warren didn’t believe anyone else could do the job.

You shouldn’t be proud of the current state of the DNC. There’s a reason they have the lowest in-party approval rating we’ve ever (?) seen. The party needs a complete overhaul

Just because he lost doesn’t mean it was a lousy campaign. Especially when you’re an outsider candidate. Did Kamala run a lousy campaign in 2024 by that logic? The anti-Bernie hysteria is hilarious bc him and AOC are keeping the dems relevant rn
comment in response to
post
Also to say he ran bad campaigns when he was in the lead in 2020 going into Super Tuesday, (including being miles ahead of Kamala) is also hilarious
comment in response to
post
I mean the DNC objectively conspired to block him from the nomination. Do you have any evidence that he didn’t reach out behind the scenes? Saying Bernie didn’t reach out to voters as he’s one of the only candidates going on national tour rn is hilarious

Warren was the candidate that Bernie needed to drop out and coalesce support from but she refused
comment in response to

I mean they are all more moderate candidates so if game theory this out, it was in Bernie’s best interest for them to stay in the race. Obama knew that as well. That’s how Trump got nominated in 2016

I’ve always been frustrated with the lack of motion from Shurmur. Man has no creativity. I think that offense with Travis and co could’ve been even better if they spiced it up
