Which manuscript was the Mary image from? I love images of her dealing with the devil.

I got an account a few years ago to look at the Garima Gospels. Worth a look, if you’re interested in Ethiopian art & manuscripts. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garima_...

I visited Greece 20 ish years ago. It’s a gorgeous country & the food is incredible. Grocery store baklava was cheap & high quality at the time. Everything closes on sundays & church+ holidays.

3) I used to HATE washing dishes, and let them pile up, so this year I started washing them immediately. Not only are they easier to clean, they no longer clutter my sink and I get a real sense of accomplishment when I see the sink area nice and tidy.

2) Buy small, cheap, useful to you items when you hear about them instead of years later. I wish I'd picked up a salad spinner, handheld vacuum, and brown sugar container MUCH sooner than I did.

Some images from the inside of the Dom, showing the nave, the astronomical clock, and the font.

I was hoping to see this ceiling this summer, but missed it due to the renovations. Saw the reproduced panels in the history museum in Zurich instead.

Inside it's a hall church (with aisles the same height as the nave), with vaulting done in 1525.

Hanging on the spire of the church are 3 crows nests from 1536, where the bodies of the Munster rebellion's leaders were hung for 50 years.
