SSA knew very quickly when my Dad passed but not quickly enough not to receive his check since he died at the end of the month. SSA pulled those funds back so quickly it would make your head spin.

I called my Rep'a local office. The phone was answered after 2 rings. I talked with someone 5-6 minutes. I ended by telling them I would be watching my Congresswoman's actions and I would be calling back.

My daughter is a NP in Women's Health. She tried to access CDC website and received "updates to the app cannot be retrieved at this time." She says CDC guidance on treatment of female STIs is the gold standard. Guess that's going by the wayside.

Interesting survey. My 20 yo granddaughter is an avid D. Her 17yo sister begged their Dad to cast his vote on her behalf. He usually votes 3rd party. Their school is big on teaching civics, btw.

I was a Navy civilian for 35 years. I worked many long days, and yes, weekends. I had co-workers (civilians) who worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, and many other hotspots serving our Navy. This makes me so angry.

Why would the government place an employee on admin leave until September but not require them to work? You get paid on admin leave. This is just too stupid for words. I thought they were trying to save money.

My son is dyslexic. If it weren't for audio books he wouldn't "read" at all. He is more well read than almost everyone I know.
