I've had to come to terms with a lot of insecurities over the years, regarding my quality or value as a person. The older I get, the more I realise that as long as I'm not clapping my hands and fiendishly giggling at the suffering of other people, I'm actually doing just fine as a person.

Watched Eraserhead with a couple friends for the first time last night. I didn't understand the movie, and I don't know if I'd recommend it to most other people, but I enjoyed it and I think it was well-made. Most of all I'm just happy it exists and I got to share that experience with friends.
