I lived in the US for a year when I was 17, I think I had one optician appointment while I was there and I paid outright for new glasses as my parents said it was cheap compared to Norwegian prices 🙈 15 years ago tho!

Specsavers has been sending me texts about booking in for a test since February. Although it's mostly a miracle it only took me 4 months this time 😂

My vision has gotten worse by one in my right eye and by three in my left eye 😳 and there's also slight astigmatism in one of my eyes as well. But no illnesses so that's something! New glasses and sunglasses ordered though!

People celebrate in lots of different ways. To me, the food and family time is what's most important. I also live abroad, with my partner but not with my parents or brother or other family. I'll facetime them later though 🥰
