Musk is a Fellow of the Royal Society, a great honour usually reserved for eminent scientists rather than rich men who buy the services of gifted people. He joins the likes of Newton, Franklin, Darwin and Einstein. Perhaps the RS has a view on Musk's destruction of American scientific capability.
