Just to be extra-clear: the protester was carrying a legal firearm in an open-carry state, did not discharge the weapon, and is the only person being charged with a crime? Further, the organizers are supporting the shooter, their volunteer? This was a protest *against* scapegoating non-white folks?

I would really like there to be a resolution to this that isn't just "kidnapping is legal now, good luck"
