Emory Law (@emorylaw.bsky.social) offers a great State Constitutional Law class, taught by Professor Fred Smith and Justice David Nahmias. Many members of ELJ have taken and loved the class!

Great question! I think I’d be more interested in hearing takes about the former, but I am interested in the latter too.

I’ll be running at OTF, and I’ll probably go for a run outside too. Thanks!

I am still working on it, but it should be done soon. This is my thesis for the Duke Law School Judicial Studies LLM program, so I hope to publish it with a journal later this year or early next year.

I'd also add that there is real value to putting your roots down where you intend to stay. Bar leaders (like @matthewstiegler.bsky.social) and judges (like @judgedillard.bsky.social) often come from the ranks of appellate practitioners who spent most or all of their career in the same place.
