Retired teacher; I keep busy between gardening & my 2 rescue pups. I have 1 foot in very blue California and the other in very red Idaho. In Idaho I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.

But then: I'd buy buy buy.
And I can't carry them around on a trip.
I'd have to send them home.

I've always wanted to go there.
But really, I'm a little afraid to.

I taught 5th grade.
At the end of the year I would have my students memorize the Preamble.
I used to have it on my wall all year long. I thought, just maybe when they were looking around they might read it.
My principal, Peter Parenti, told me to take it down.

Sometimes I look at a quilt and I'm stunned by the color selections.

I used to go there with my boys in the 80s. It was just a few huge cement pools with dedicated volunteers. You could walk right up to the pools.
Then I returned with a friend about 10 years ago.
All was changed.
The pools were a lot nicer, but there was a viewing stage & you couldn't get up close.

And it took a woman.
Women are the ones who have the guts to challenge the orange bully.
Why? Because we have had to fight for respect all our lives. We're not going to let 47 take our voice.

It kind-of looks like what I made 2 weeks ago that was a big hit.
(Noodles+ground beef÷tomato sauce+plus lots of cheese.)

I remember telling
my "Republican" husband years ago that they were coming for Medicare & Social Security and he told me that "they" would never do that. 🤔 I wonder what he'll say now? I'm sure it will be Biden's fault somehow.
