Being 30 and have no career is incredibly depressing. Whats more depressing is hearing people who finished uni only a year before me talk about how easy finding a dev job. Cant help but feel unworthy/unwanted/undeserving.

lol @ the replies. Im not gonna be that hostile but i do wish Microsoft would focus on non copilot related enhancements towards github. Like addressing all the long standing issues for the the website UI. Maybe improvements towards github desktop?

I feel like there could be a better medium between Starter Packs, Lists, and Feeds on here. Not a fan of the 'follow all' button on starter packs. However i love being able to browse the "Posts" tab and seeing who in these packs is actually having relevant conversations and are worth following.

I hate the way articles about BSky keep framing choice to move here in terms of left/right and echo chambers. Fundamentally, the bigger issues for me are wanting to see links/current news, wanting to see posts that aren't rage-baiting/content farming, and wanting actually diverse conversations.

Maybe hot take, If you are posting something on the internet that doesnt live on your servers with your specified access controls, then assume that its public data available for anybody to use. This dataset is inevitable. Youd need a private PDS if you really want your data to only be yours.
