We’re sharing with the club, too: guys near us behind the goal repeatedly chanted « Dickey, you suck » like hockey and complained there wasn’t heckling in women’s soccer. In front of our 7 y/o. Not the level of bad of racism/transphobia but I could see it escalating w/ these guys. It was gross.

Absolutely! My great-grandmother died in her early 20s from the 1918 Flu leaving behind two small children and forever changing the trajectory of their very challenging lives. The trauma gets passed on.

Seriously! Same when KC played the Courage. Hutton even muscled Denise off the ball to force the turnover which led to the only goal. Never seen someone do that to Denise (she’s the one who does it!) let alone an 18 year old! Reminds me of Sammy Mewis.
