3/ Thanks also to @jullib.bsky.social and the rest of @ceps.eu 's DEI Committee for pushing for this important discussion.
I'm happy that there was space to talk about the rule of law, diversity and inclusivity - foundational principles of the EU that have been increasingly under attack.

2/ Thanks to @brusselsfog.bsky.social for chairing it, as well as to everyone on this fantastic panel: @ilgaeurope.bsky.social's Chaber, @enareurope.bsky.social's Julie Pascoët, CEPS' own @davidecolombi.bsky.social, @najatvb.bsky.social, MEP Evin Incir and Francesco Zoia Bolzonello of @ec.europa.eu.

I'm positive that this is only beginning in our quest to frame ethics as a rule of law issue and raise awareness for its importance to upholding the democratic rule of law.
A huge thank you to everyone over at @ceps.eu who has helped me make this session as well as #CEPSlab2025 a reality!

It's an honour to have shared the 'stage' with MEP Freund, a true trailblazer for transparency and accountability, as well as Emilia and Shari, two experts who always bring brilliant insight as I have had the pleasure to witness last year at our webinar with the @ombudsman.europa.eu .

2/ The Commission should realise infringements don't cut it anymore and no matter how many times the institutions and the Court of Justice condemn the government's actions, Orbán won't fall in line.
Triggering Article 7(2) TEU is way overdue - and the evidence supporting it is overwhelming.
