And yes, I'm aware I have made up several words...😎🤣 But, seriously, if you like the sound of Bridgerton meets Enola Holmes, meets Knives Out - then think you're going to love this one.

Though I suppose if we renamed it FURRY OF THE GODS - it MIGHT fit into the romantasy area? 🫣🤣

T decided there wasn't enough of a challenge for Orka with just the dragon. So added in some dark elves and a dragon-headed Knight as well. I drew the line at his firemen coming to 'help out'...

Yep, and the concern is, how MUCH can the AI change and who polices that? At what quantity of change does it become AI predicted text based off the work of other writers because it's more marketable or a better turn of phrase? Don't even start me on AI ripping off artist's illustrations...

My concern would be how much that AI proofreading could amend the text to reflect what it considered more 'marketable' though...how much does it get to change before it's classed as an AI generated text rather than author-written? And who would be policing that so it's not wholly AI generated?

Nope, you should assume I still have 200 of my 'maybe' pile to work through. 😅 Managed to clear ten today...I'm getting there, it's just very, very slow. Sorry!

16. Between Dragons And Their Wrath by @devinmadson.bsky.social Devin is a master of that magical balancing act between complexity and devourability. BDATW heaps on the worldbuilding, piles character intrigue up to the ceiling, but never overwhelms. The sort of moreish fantasy I wish I could write.

I was honestly thinking that Star Wars had got really dark in its marketing...
