We already know that the other side will make all peaceful protests violent.
They will send in the proud boys and they will send in ICE and they will kettle protesters and tear gas them and put up images of a street that they have turned into a war zone and say, “see? Rioters.”

And what writing is for. “Essay” means “to try:” to explore ideas, to think, to discover, to discuss. No one is going to hold you to an essay you write at 19. The point is to learn how to think in new ways, how to avoid logic errors, how to evaluate effectively, and how to share these ideas.

When you get rid of science, you don’t have to ask all those think-y questions!

I could not keep up in the prime of my life. One night, at a “private party” after our friend’s bar closed, it was 4 am, and everyone was still going strong. I was desperately planning a nap in one of the booths, when people shrugged and gently explained, “España mata.”

And it's not even "we think this is what's right on the basis of vibes" or whatever. It's literally just "The text of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 doesn't support different legal tests when members of majorities claim discrimination than it does when minorities do."

Literally all this means is that SCOTUS—unanimously!—found that the legal standard for proving you were discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation is the same if you're straight or queer. That's what "sides with" means here. The Court didn't find she was discriminated against.

Nope. As an English teacher, I guarantee you that someone typed that and was so incurious as to wtf that little red squiggle meant they just went on to finish the poster. But yes, they shat it out.

It isn't just that these systems are built based on theft - it's that they cannot continue without ongoing theft.
The scoffing, glib, obnoxious chat-bros who feel like they're ascendant and that they'll never need to pay a writer or researcher ever again? They're about to get a slap in the face.

The reforms were first ordered by Pope Francis in 2022, but Opus Dei dragged its feet – in the hope the pope would pass away first
When he died on Easter Monday, Pope Francis had been on the cusp of signing into canon law a huge reform of Opus Dei
