If, like me, the confused geographer, you find the roundness of the world baffling, then just note that 5pm Brisbane time is 9am European time! 🌎🌍🌏

Mini-correction: it’s precisely called “Along the Line: Writing With Comics and Graphic Narrative in Geography” but hey, you get the idea. Comics. Written chapters. And you can just read the comics or only look at the pictures. Total win. #visualEthnography #comicsStudies #academicWriting

It’s the same in Switzerland (Le Cantique Suisse, en français) with four official versions and believe me it is CHAOS if everyone sings in different languages. Luckily nobody knows it beyond the first two lines… So sportspeople just mumbling randomly is actually tactful patriotic / musical strategy!

Oh how nice to see it living its best life, fancy and feral! Thank you!
More joining the herd soon, as it’s off for a second run at the printers. Hurray!

A few years ago, before the 2022 (re)invasion, I wrote a paper on territory, gender and entitlement. I explored discourses and rhetorical devices to conflate personal & territorial ´entitlement’ among diplomats & heads of state. The age of grabbing has returned.

Our cat is living out the distant apocalypse wrapped up and cosy. I suppose you have family & friends at the heart of various apocalypses. Solidarity.
