This'll give a bit of a vibe without any real context or spoilers - far from the most biting statement in the show but the first I could find youtu.be/RZP7_Vb45p4?...

End of season 2*** Also the whole show is only about 24 hours

I don't want to spoil things but it's pretty queer and the world is fucked up I'm an interesting way and I think that the end of season 3 makes a few points you'd like. There's stuff along the way too.

Have you seen the owl house?

Because they don't see women as people

Just gotta be careful when you chew and you can do it now

This is bait, right?

I mean you are Canadian...

"I'm sorry if anyone was offended" is a shitty non-apology "Hey that thing I said was fucked up and over the line, I'm working on it" isn't. Hell, we had an example of that working perfectly in the last two weeks on here.

If there was a deliberate aim of lying about her relationships to make her look bad, I agree that is both bad and unnecessary. I think rumors have a tendency to spread faster than the truth and so people repeat things they believe. If I am mistaken then my understanding of those involved is too.
comment in response to post
You said no one had the right to determine she didn't deserve a career, so I asked my question because it feels important to determine where that line is. I'm not suggesting that slander is just, but I don't think you have to lie to make the case either. I'm not moving a goalpost, it wasn't defined.

Is it undermining her ability to make money if people speak critically of her behavior or bring up her statements? Genuine question.

But you also need the context of how bad that extrapolates for airplaness in order to understand how important masking on flights is
comment in response to post
This is absolutely not irrelevant data lmao are you a bot
comment in response to post
Also this is wastewater which I'd assume far less than 100% of people on flights are using the bathroom during short hops, so it's likely undercounting

He cares about promoting individualism because it's easier to give you an other to hate. Keeping in mind that he'd describe the same traits in black men as "thuggish"

Your health insurance isn't dependent on it like it is capitalism

Y'know for how much I read about tar and feathering in school it's kind of wild it hasn't happened in my lifetime

Was green bird not an option before the latest release? I'm an Android user but I've been able to do context-aware search of photos for awhile now.

I guarantee that I have more than enough knowledge for this conversation. You have no idea what resistance looks like because you don't have any interest in actually stopping the atrocities happening in front of your eyes. If you did you wouldn't be throwing your hands up in the air this early.

How many good Germans were there in 1945? How many good members of their government? Their army? Their police?

I was ready to quit my high paying job in a bad market because it came out that a new C-level executive was a racist. The employees rallied as a group and he was ousted because they needed a thousand of us more than they needed him. Try that, this is a much worse situation.

I'm under the impression that foot soldiers have the ability to say no to unethical and unlawful orders. Stop doing what they tell you to do, they're going to fire you anyway, they'll just wait until there's not enough "good" people left to push back.
comment in response to post
They folded like tissue paper when given even the slightest bit of pressure. They let an unofficial "agency" gain access to the most secured systems in the world without clearance and erased trans people from governmental sites and those who receive gov funding. What does pressure look like to you?
comment in response to post
Say no when you are given unlawful orders. Doge does not exist, stop doing what they say. Stop letting them into spaces. Work with the people on your teams and push back rather than letting them pick you off one by one.

I mean yes but the year started with plane crashes before people got fired and this doesn't look like an ATC related issue.
comment in response to post
So is this just the year that planes stop working what the fuck

(relative)

It's part of why I think that Canada is more like France than Austria

Honestly the biggest defense there is that it doesn't look like the middle east. The vibes are off and that hopefully causes pause.

I think the key in the modern era is a go bag mentality. Be ready when the canary starts struggling to breathe to get in a car or on a plane within 24 hours.
comment in response to post
The one good thing is you can't really stop things from happening but it's much harder to keep them quiet now than a hundred years ago. Information still moves faster than people.

Not trying to create more brain worms or fears but I'm more worried about ICE at present than I am any other negative outcome. Military action would take time in a way that local pd and ICE wouldn't.
comment in response to post
Depends on which troops. I think you want to be watching USCIS and actions related to it more than .mil at the moment - I think their treatment of people going through the process is going to be the key indicator at present.

The worst part is this could be one of like fifteen people that I'm aware of, and I don't pay much attention to influencers.

Also less moral.

I don't know how to fix the fundamental desire to make coding into the equivalent of data entry but I've received more training for data entry roles than I have software engineering and that feels like the worst possible outcome.

This in turn also means most seniors have no clue how to teach. I lost my last job in part because it was working on building a new language but they'd been at it long enough that there were tons of undocumented features I was expected to know without having the time to learn the whole codebase.
comment in response to post
That doesn't make it not evil but I think it's really hard to learn a vibe in isolation and so much of cooking is weird reactions that you'd never guess on your own
comment in response to post
Starting with math is kind of helpful if you never learned how baking works

Depends on how real the constitutional crisis is. If the EOs continue to be treated as laws and the judicial is ignored then I think it exceeds it rather quickly
comment in response to post
I think the damages are different, in that the Tories had aims and targets. It's a bull in an antiques shop versus a targeted mob hit and one of those takes longer to repair than the other with concentrated effort.
comment in response to post
I am not doing literally any of those things. I literally began my post by agreeing with those who spoke before me. I think that in this exact moment in time the fragile unity that has shown up recently is beneficial on a relative scale. I even added another post to clarify that those issues matter
comment in response to post
You read, I never said that, you're putting words in my mouth.

I'd never suggest any individual should put things aside, and opportunists will absolutely use this upswell to attempt all kinds of their own atrocities which should be repelled. You'll hear no argument from me. I do think centralizing the threat continues to have value, to prevent annihilation.
comment in response to post
While this is absolutely, unquestionably true, in this moment the unity that does exist is perhaps Canada's best chance at continuing to exist, and the native population will be far worse off if the country is consumed by US interests. As a friend put it, "land back" can't happen if Canada dies here
comment in response to post
I and millions of others will be dead long before there's ever a chance for the electoral system to matter again, if it even exists. You are not looking at what is happening and you do not see how the world has fundamentally changed.
comment in response to post
Your enablement of the regime and passive support will accomplish nothing except empowering their onslaught against the world. Time to stop worrying about the vote and to start recognizing the threat of those who want to destroy the world. Even if they're stopped here they won't give up. Find change
