It’s occurred to me that what is happening with the rape of the federal government was completely prefigured in the January 6 riots. Musk is taking over and destroying agencies at the behest of Trump the way the MAGATS took over and tried to destroy the capital. /

The fact that we have such maniacally sick people running the country, or trying to, speaks to me hidden sickness throughout our society. I believe that hidden sickness is childhood sexual abuse and especially incest. It is something the Me Too movement didn’t get to.

I just finished listening to “wait wait don’t tell me,“ the so-called NPR news quiz. Usually they take great delight in skewering, powerful political figures. But on this broadcast, there was not a single jibe at Trump, Musk, Hegseth, etc. I think NPR is running scared and that scares me

One of the functions of a governmental bureaucracy is to slow things down - to keep change from happening too quickly, so that no matter who is at the top there are no violent swings in One Direction or another. Fascists are inherently, lazy, and in the current case, too lazy to really understand both causality and government. They are already causing unexpected disasters, like rising inflation. There will be many more, and although they won’t take responsibility, we can hold them accountable.
