Reaper's CPU load capabilities are amazing, i have yet to find a limit. Adobe Audition would start to chug almost immediately. i keep loading in a plug in thinking "this is when it starts to lag out" and nope, still truckin' along flawlessly. can't believe i put this off for so long. old habits.
