The attack on DEI shows why liberals should stop arguing about "strategic" use of language forever. DEI stands for three uncontroversial virtues that most every American accepts, and the right still turned it into a vile slur. It doesn't matter what you say - they will poison it because YOU said it.

I suspect this is a HUGELY underestimated factor in radicalization. If you look at, say, QAnon boards, it’s not really folks looking for scapegoats for their dire material circumstances. It’s middle-class people with boring lives who want to imagine they’re in The Parallax View.

This video does such a good job saying what I have been trying to say about commercial AI. An AI can write a 10th grade lit essay, but the point of an essay assignment is not to produce an essay. The essay teaches critical thinking, research skills, etc. The effort is the point.

Bit of everything! Lots of iteration goes on - if I could focus in on one thing I'd say I was adamant about those push blocks you see, pretty early on, and did a lot of experimentation with them and demonstrating how we could use them! I'll talk more ab this when it's released for sure!

Resident Evil 4. (You're shocked, I know.) I was introduced to it via a family member who had a copy on Wii, then went on to buy the Xbox 360 digital release, then a secondhand disc of Ubisoft's PC port after said 360 red-ringed, and finally the "Ultimate HD Edition" when it released on Steam.
