Looks like they stepped into a FAFO situation. Morons.

You know me. I've ripped the transmissions out of 3 different stick shifts. Some people just aren't meant to drive manuals.

He also promised to release all the files about aliens too, so you know...

Me, reading any op-ed piece that's pro 'reach across the aisle'.

Sounds like he needs a one night stand with a wood chipper.

Godspeed. Me too.

When one member of the party gets attacked, we all roll initiative.

Gross. I luckily live in an area that really only suffers from the occasional mosquito outbreak. Trade off? The flies. Oh god the flies.

Only if you live in the South. I moved to WA state. Was absolutely gobsmacked that chiggers aren't a thing here.

Ooh! I've done this more than once and it's fun!

As a biology enjoyer, I enjoy poking at any gross, hard to understand things. Even my enemies.

I was lucky. I was checked in by about a half dozen cis friends/family and it felt very reassuring.

I was born with indeterminate sexual characteristics - and they did surgery to make me look female. Not sure where I should be classed now. I'm XX with an SRY gene on one of those Xes (which means honestly it's all my dad's fault). I'd blow their fucking minds.

If you've, at any point, said you support trans people and our right to exist, great, now is when you put your money where your damn mouth it. Support our fundraisers. Give us jobs. Hire trans writers. Trans artists. Defend us when we're attacked. It's not hypothetical anymore, don't be a coward.

Thanks for the fungus. Best fungus I've seen all year.

This is how every rooster I've ever owned has seen himself.

I have always thought that would be a wild job. I mean, I first thought that when I stumbled on the legendary pteroporn. The folks on the crew side of that...what were they thinking?

Oooooooh. There can be some good beach combing if you have a big wind event the night before.

I was in the goth/punk scene in DFW in the 90s when the neos started showing up, horning in with their 'we just wanna get a beer and listen to the music, dude'. I assure you, the answer was violence, because if you didn't get rough with them, they'd take over your hang and beat you up or worse.

I hope you find many pretty rocks. Maybe some sea glass.

Yeah. As young Gen Xer, I still remember being young enough to sucker punch a fool that needed to learn that you shouldn't be an asshole. There are days I miss that being socially acceptable. However, I've also learned that punching someone in the mouth is not always the answer. Finally.

Lemme put it this way. I transitioned in '97. At that point in time, the leading advocates of the day called everyone transsexual and we were lumped in with transvestites. I made the mistake of saying transsexual in front of someone about 5 years ago and that person STILL comes after me.

They've fallen into the purity trap, and I'm not talking about people NOT going after people who have done long term willful harm. I'm talking about people who will crucify you for not joining in lockstep to stamp out what THEY and only THEY see as harmful. They fail to see the harm of b&w thinking.

I mean, I'd be impressed he could sit still through a 'state dinner' for 3 hours. I'd spend three hours being impressed, but appalled.

Oh I know it's okay. I just feel like the young people I work with woke up and realized I'm Gen X thus am to be held accountable for the sins of my people up to and including Gaiman. I don't want to fall back on my early adult solutions to that sort of crap, which would get me arrested nowadays.

If I make any mention on social media of doing ANYTHING that's not 110% nose to the grindstone 'work' against the coming troubles (and yes, I do believe we're about to hit some real shit) they shriek at me for slacking. It's worse than my own internalized self denial and it's sad and enraging.

I have been an advocate for intersex and trans folks since the early 2000s on a local level. I've gotten all sorts of hate and threats, but NOTHING like the hate I get from the under 35 crowd for 'not being aware enough of the evil on the horizon'. Honestly, they're addicted to despair.

As an adult survivor of 'non-consensual surgery on an intersex child' from 1975...good for them. About damn time.
