This looks excellent. A great afternoon treat this half term week. The only way it could be better if it were about housing law, 'tho I suspect that is a yet another minority opinion of mine.

This is an excellent piece about the reality of budget setting. The proposal to pursue people who leave homes empty is a bit odd. An EDMO wouldn't achieve what the proposes want and compulsory purchase would cost a lot of money.

The work continues to switch on the measures in the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act. I have today signed regulations to remove the two-year ownership rule for leaseholders of flats to extend their lease, and leaseholders of houses to extend their lease or buy their freehold.
