You'll still be able to find me everywhere else I write, but I'm happy for the opportunity to dive back into car writing again. The fact that it's where I got my start is the icing on the cake. I'll share links to articles I find interesting here, but I won't spam you with all of them, either.

I turned auto writing into a side gig for other websites and later a full-time gig after computers didn't work out for me (again). I've made my living writing about cars and motorcycles ever since. And now, I'm coming full circle and joining the Jalopnik crew as a News Writer starting Wednesday.

Funny how Massachusetts, a deep blue state that's almost as far away from the Mexican border as you can get, keeps getting targeted...

Also, her book is quite good. Already finished it. Review to come at ADVRider.

Present the numbers in such a way as to show the maximum possible impact as the outcome, not the outlier. Don’t lie, don’t even fudge them, just research and interpret them that way.

That’s probably true! 🤣

The search function is about as useless on both. Bring back email lists with searchable archives! I still own/moderate a few for specific model motorcycles and ham radios just to preserve the collective knowledge about them, even if they're mostly inactive now.

It's a dying art form, and oh so satisfying when you nail the rev-match downshift perfectly. It's like Morse code, which was required when I got my ham radio license, but hasn't been for many years. I still remember that, too. --... ...--
