If you want something current and/or to get in the spirit for the movie, the ongoing Ryan North run on Fantastic Four is great. Largely broken into one or two issue arcs too, so it's real easy to read.

Bendis leads into Brubaker's run, which is incredible. But not a good starting point (direct continuation of Bendis' story).

In that case, just add Man Without Fear to your digital list (very quick read), and then I'd either start with Bendis or Zdarsky, both of which have volume 1 omnis that are relatively obtainable right now, and a second omni to go into afterwards.

If you just want the best story and something to start off with I'd suggest the Frank Miller Omnibus Companion, which contains Born Again and The Man Without Fear.
