I've applied for a few software QA positions as well, actually 😅 I feel most of the core skills are transferable enough to adapt my experience to other software, its just not my realm of interest long term, but I'd be down for the right pay/work life balance

I'm hopeful for smaller studios that are passion driven to really start making some cool stuff, but the US is crumbling in so many directions right now that I fear it may be a long ways off for us here 😅
I would be open to working weird hours with an EU team remotely too tbh, for the right team

Gaming is "hiring" they are not *truly* hiring. In fact, myself and thousands of others who have been laid off in the last 2 years are still actively seeing employment in our fields
