Anyway, typing up a lot of copy today, wincing at the number of backspaces I have to do, and thinking about Miss Rose.
She died of cancer shortly after I graduated high school. I wish I'd been brave enough to tell her how much I loved her class. High School Jess had a rough go.

I remember her being kind, exuberant, full of belief in each of us, and so spunky.
This may be why I can't listen to music with lyrics while I work - I'd end up doing a typing assignment! 😆 Never thought of that!

Gotta question you on this one. Cats, it has been proven, are out to either subjugate or annihilate humans through a series of innocent-looking accidents. Every comic artist ever knows this. How can you actually turn your back on a cat and think it would never harm you?

Ah this! My partner calls it 'doom and gloom hour' when the grands turn on the 10:00 news. But they do a pretty good job of reading the newspaper (which is also a gutted industry).

So useful! And IMO more fashionable than cargo pants. Yes, I get that they purport to offer the same thing: storage. But overalls offer cute, accessible storage. Cargo pants are like that one dude's glove box... 'I know it's in here somewhere!'

I never have! I'm very Rachel from Friends when it comes to touching my eyes - even tho every eye doc has recommended it and glasses hurt my once-broken nose. But watching people baby their eye covers in fancy liquid and cases every night and seeing them pop out or disappear... hard pass. 😆

Kudos to him for trying to call it out and warn people. Do we know anything more about him? I'm curious if he was in a position to be listened to or someone that the majority could easily dismiss or undermine.
