Your response is recursively true of itself.

I currently have work and home RGB keyboards that I mostly just like the ambience of, but having the actual enclosure turn red would be something I'd notice even in my peripheral vision. I bet I can find a way to reprogram them to halfway accomplish this functionality, though.

I don't know. Now that I think about how often I end up enabling caps lock using keyboard shortcuts in image editing apps and stuff, I think it would be the ultimate feature if the entire casing of the keyboard was translucent and lit up red to make you aware that it was on.

I'm surprised that the US has apparently become greener pastures for the work that you do.

I am willing to bet that Zach Cregger will be far more capable of deriving a compelling film from the property compared to the slop it's always been.

I think it's still fair to say that 12% and 21% is "too many". In a world where critical thinking was more prevalent, we should be looking at 0%.

You did actually manage to push me over the edge to finally delete my 20+ year old Facebook account yesterday. When I downloaded my data and only got a 60 megabyte zip when they were prepping me for gigs, it was nice seeing I was leaving so little behind.

But yeah, if you ever feel like getting more adventurous with your undersink plumbing on your own, using copper (often chromed) to connect things together has a lot of upsides. However, it's a ridiculous crapshoot whether or not something's gonna leak a lot of the time. I've basically given it up.

Ah. Yeah. I have a deep-seated hate for gate valves. If we're talking about an angle stop here, if it happens to be threaded directly onto galvanized pipe, the only reasonable DIY option is buying an inline 3/8 compression shutoff to thread onto the outlet of the angle stop to supplant it.

Did you immediately jump into the deep end and try to do it with copper supply lines or something?

I don't know who is being vaguely referred to here, though.

It's like going to a soda machine and filling a cup with a mixture of crap by pressing the buttons randomly and then thinking you can lay claim to the underlying formula of whatever awful drink you made.

Hadn't occured to me, but it's not exaggerating much from the actual story to say manga Nausicaa.

For people who might not be acquainted with something from more than 7 years ago, check out @pizzasuplex.bsky.social 's "Please Retweet" series.

I find YouTube to be really spotty about notifying you of replies to comments. Toss that in with how it jumbles them up instead of giving them to you chronologically, and you're bound to get ignored. Also, there's a good chance some of your comments got arbitrarily deleted by the system.

Yeah, I personally skipped it because I didn't feel like sparing what little bandwidth I currently have for upsetting topics on something that's never had any bearing on my existence, specifically.

I think it's a pretty good response simply because it keeps being proven time and time again that anything along the lines of "I deserve the right to exist." is not a persuasive statement to the scum we're being forced to share this planet with.

The next day, I drank some chocolate milk in the morning and discovered it had a disgusting taste all of a sudden. I tried again days later, weeks later, months later. It's never changed back. Ultimately, I finally figured out I was lactose intolerant when I was 12, though. So, no huge loss.

I liked chocolate milk as a kid. Then, one day when I was 8 I was at Old Country Buffet with my family and my body felt like it needed all the chocolate milk in the world inside of it. I basically stopped eating and just drank. I drank until I was on the verge of vomiting.

It's part of a longer ad that includes other celebrities supposedly auditioning for the role of a T-Mobile spokesperson. The craziest aspect is that the cut-down version still retains one of those two Suits white dudes saying "magenta penis", but they ADRed "magenta status" over it.

Maybe it's just me, but if you've ever ended up needing to replace your flush valve, I feel it's kinda shocking coming face-to-face with just how pitifully engineered the whole connection between the tank and the bowl is.

Whereas, Nausicaa is super overrated. No other Ghibli movie is more devoid of purpose than that one. It's kind of remarkable that no attempt has ever been made to adapt the finished manga (which is probably the best story Miyazaki's penned).

A fuckton of sites are AI spam. Google's own "here's the answer" highlighting completely misunderstands questions most of the time, what isn't AI is some top 10 list thrown together by someone with zero intention of articulating anything of value about the subjects.
