I’m a Dad, Musician, Project Manager, former Scientist and a Hiker’s Husband. I love to travel in our clapped-out Ford Transit van. The desert, forests, beaches, birds, Australian wildlife and night skies bring peace.

If you can afford the AWD, you’ll get into the same amount of trouble but will be able to get out as well 😂

100% it reminded me of Loch Ard Gorge which is a relatively near the 12 apostles. California looks beautiful and has a lot in common with Victoria - particularly recently.

This reminds me of the limestone coast along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. #travelEnvy #needToPlanAnotherHoliday

I agree. My strategy professor described “The Iron Law of the Duopoly” where small enterprises that drive innovation eventually devolve into two self-preserving monster organizations. Government intervention and disruptive innovation were the only solutions we could identify. #goodBlueSkyDiscussion

Good point. I don’t really know how to solve this one. I genuinely wish I did. Perhaps a wiki-foundation type model is an option? What other possible solutions are there for those of us who don’t have oligarch money? #solveTheWorldsProblems #OpenSourceSolutions #IDontKnowHowToHashtag

I hope so. Based on your content, you look for positivity and natural awe in the world. When everything else seems to be going mad, keep FroliKing!

Absolutely nothing other than us voting with our feet - as we will with other platforms that don’t serve us. But you’re right , there are no guarantees when our attention is the product being sold. #ZeFrankFan

That sounds like a great plan regardless of any political influences in the world. Anxiety and panic can be easily hijacked by marketing and propaganda. Green spaces, calm homes, blue oceans, animals in the wild, family, friends, hobbies, reading, the night sky, clouds, and sunsets are the cure.

I think it will play out the same but at least I can keyword ban things that I don’t want in my feed. It’s a small consolation but it’s better than the zuckelonaberg platforms. I hope it will be able to keyword ban text in photos too.

I’m surrounded by a wonderful, loving family. I have funny, talented friends. My job is fulfilling and I work with wonderful people. I get to travel. I am able-bodied and well. I get to share the world with two Murray River Curly Coat Retrievers. I am grateful for it all.

It’s a great idea to try it out on the man cave first.

The van was about AUD$14k the fit out was maybe $4k but I didn’t keep track of it. Mainly repurposed cabinets sink etc and got components from IKEA (skorva IYKYK). The most expensive part was electrical LiFePO4, wiring, fans, and solar etc. All up, under $20k.

The approach we took was to buy a van on facebook marketplace and watch YouTubers set up their vans. It took a while but very worthwhile and it’s more than paid for the usual travel expenses like hotels etc. It opened up a whole continent for us to travel. Freedom and adventure await.
