There was a time where I wanted to have the best GPU and such, but as I've gotten older, I run hardware until it's no longer viable. I've got a Ryzen 5600x and a 3070TI and I'm pretty sure it may end up being my last gaming-focused build. A lot of the newer games don't interest me.

Fedora or Kubuntu are probably your best bets if that's what you're already familiar with. I use Debian on my home server and Arch (BTW :D) on my laptop.

Confirmed, my data download from Facebook has all of my old photos, so I now have a backup of it.

There is a way to download your data. I'm trying it now to confirm it pulls photos (I have some old photos of the kiddo on mine) and I'll let you know if it works, then you'll have a backup!

I have some random books digitally but I've found a way to download them and keep them locally without relying on another service but most of my library is physical too!

I wish I could completely rid myself of it, but it's the one way the Ghostbusters group uses to organize things. I may end up just scrubbing all of my personal data and leaving the account a 'shell'.

Now I have an itch to play some of these old school text adventures! To be fair though, the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Adventure is the old Atari 2600 game which is an all-time favorite of mine.
