7 Dems voted to confirm Kristi Noem. They were comfortable signing their names in the historical record in support of this.

@kaine.senate.gov: "the effort to manhandle our colleague, to push him out of the room for asking an inconvenient question, to handcuff him — it’s an attempt to shut him up. It’s an attempt to shut everyone up who has a dissenting view from this administration"
YOU VOTED FOR HER, MOTHERFUCKER

Our Dem senator @kaine.senate.gov and 6 others literally voted to confirm that monster. The outcome would have been the same if they hadn't but Jesus fucking Christ.

To be fair, deploying the National Guard is one of the only ways Greg Abbott can get an erection. It’s as close as he’ll ever get to creating the Daleks.

The combination of the context and the phrasing "this contract is munchable" is incredibly infuriating. Straight to re-education camp, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

In many cases, like this one, insurance companies are charging people several hundred a month for the insurance and then charging significantly more for drugs than you could pay without using insurance. This drug costs 60-70% less with a free discount card or from an alternative pharmacy.

When this drug without insurance is $200 with Goodrx or $150 from Cost Plus, it's clear UHC/Optum leadership shouldn't be permitted to breathe.

Our city only does things when people complain so I'm always on the city's app submitting service requests for issues I've noticed while driving around. Everything from a city trash can overflowing to streets needing more trees.

For places I drive regularly, I'll usually check which route Waze suggests then turn it on audio for alerts only. I've been in too many situations where I didn't trust the alternate route it gave me then ended up sitting in 1-2 hours of traffic.

Most disposable vapes use a plastic sponge in direct contact with the heating coil to wick the fluid. They're so much worse than other vapes for that reason. You are coating your lungs in micro- and nanoplastics.

Almost all the legitimate journalism is hidden behind thousands of different paywalls while far right propaganda disguised as legitimate journalism costs as much as a brainworm obtained from eating roadkill.

I think their point was that in China you can get a 4 door hatchback with 200 miles of range for roughly that price. This car would be like $2000 if a Chinese manufacturer was selling it in China.

The city has basically the same ordinance. "Call us and we'll tell you what a weed is" is pretty hilarious because, first of all, fuck off.

Sounds so peaceful. None of that "pay us $5000 or idk maybe it'll spread to your brain and you'll die" drama.

Sometimes "2 people killed in a shooting" isn't even enough to get a brief mention in any of our local news. If they were kids they might get a 20 second evening news TV segment and a copy/paste of the police statement in the newspaper.

Im gonna adopt DOGEs approach to "cost saving" today. I will go home, get everyone to stand outside, and I will raze my house to the ground and set fire to what remains. That will reduce all my household bills immediately to zero.
Genius.

I like going to them for it because otherwise I probably wouldn't be getting an annual physical with lab work and everything. Even if the only thing that's told me is that my vitamin D level was little low.

I just went to a primary care doc at a family practice for a new patient appt (physical). I told them I was diagnosed ADHD before, used to take Adderall which helped, and that I'd like to start taking it again because I still have issues focusing that negatively affecting my life in these ways...

That answer in like 2015 or whatever didn't get nearly enough coverage. This man who claims to be Christian says he never once asked his God for forgiveness, which is literally the whole deal with Christianity.
